Who here is going to Burning Man? Who are you camping with?

I'll be camping with The Community/Opal.

I'm on the Playa 100% (ticket in hand!)...and I'm 87% there with this camp...need to really decide if full sound camp on the Esplanade works for me~~

Thanx Adam. I want to go, But can only go for 3 days. Is it worth buying the ticket or are there any ways to get in there?

          Amen
          Hallelujah
          Jai Ma
          Shalom
          Praise Allah
          Fuck Yeah
          Ho

...however, beware that if the 3 days are at the beginning of the week, you will not want to leave. Coming for the last 3 days means you've got to be ready to enter an already establsihed built up city and bachanal feast of the senses.

Sergei, have you been to BM?
If not, three days there is like buying a pair of shoes you've been saving up to buy for a year and never getting an opportunity to wear them.
You've got to be there longer, insurance can wait!

I don't have a ticket yet either, but it'll happen.

and the good Lord, Rada Krishna and Elijah only know with whom, in what and where I'll be camping.

I love the beauty and magic of not knowing!

My dear Anitra. Oh how I wish I could take more than 3 days off.. Burning Man might have to wait yet another year, dammit-all-to-hell.

This is an excellent post. : )

Thanks Adam for starting it, cause it gives me a chance to talk to the good people of the Community who will hopefully be joining the Opulent Temple in creating some beauty and magic on the playa. I have never camped on the Esplanade and so share the concerns of others who don't want to be too near the crazines. Suffice it to say we will do everything we can to keep it livable and peaceful. Music will only be going when most of us are out enjoying the city anyway, will be quiet during the day, and the camp set up is such that tents will be quite back from the dance area with plenty of sound and physical barriers in between to allow for sleeping, though light sleepers may need ear plugs. CJ and I are really working to make it elegant, beautiful and fun for all.

I am there, 100% I would love to be on the Esplanade too. Adam has an application been submitted?

                    Yes it has.

Plan on going in to talk with Harley in the next few weeks.

Everything else is looking great. We have a fundraiser planned for June 26 that is gonna raise the roof. : )
